It could have been enjoyable enough. I like the setting of a cozy village for supernaturals, three old-ish witches in an old farm house, half vampire as sidekick, hot bear shifter as love interest, an evil coven wanting world domination - the book has a lot going for it. But then there is the FMC,  arrogant and bossy, obnoxious and just plain unlikeable. She is repeatedly behaving like a spoiled brat, despite being almost 30. She is inexperienced but still feels the need to tell people what has to be done and how. No thanks.

Another thing that annoyed me was the not so hidden fat shaming. No other character's body shape is being pointed out as frequently as the fat lady's. No, the author doesn't say 'fat' but there are enough synonyms to describe a 'very big' person. Which you can see in this book.
