Hero at the Fall
by Alwyn Hamilton
Probably a 4.25 rating. It was fantastic, and I really enjoyed reading it. My only faults were that it seemed kinda rushed- the storyline didn't suffer (or at least, I couldn't pick up any faults, it was great) but there were a few grammatical errors and the chapters that switched from Amani's perspective to stories seemed slightly dull. Some chapters also seemed slightly confusing and cryptic, and I didn't enjoy the parallels with the Western genre. But those are my only issues, it was a complete joy to read (I read it in two sittings in under 24hrs, so trust me- it was wonderful). I'd definitely recommend picking it up if you've read the previous books.
