Brew: A Love Story
by Tracy Ewens
Hoopla listen narrated by Sebastian York.
GAWD I love when he narrates alone.
I’m not listening to these books in order, just to my favorite narrators. This feels like a guilty pleasure.
The story is truly superb. The best friend’s cinnamon rolls Monday. ❤️
His relationship with his son, beautiful but very male dominated. Suggesting all men always wanted something better. Like that was a good trait rather than a sexist or maybe a first-world one. (I’m overthinking here.) The way he accepted their fate as he dressed. He kept her away and it hurt her.
How she made the decision to work on herself was such a nice middle finger to it all. His kid owned her heart. It felt pure.
