It comes to no surprise that Lauren Asher has captivated me with her writing once again, making me feel all the emotions and ending with a beaming smile.

Lorenzo and lily's relationship was as beautiful as it was frustrating, and I know a lot of people may have found Lorenzo to be "stuck up" or "rude" towards Lily, and where I can see that, i can also see that at the time, that was all he knew in order to protect himself, and you have to take in consideration his
mental health and OCD.

The way Lauren handled these subjects really hit home for me because, I saw SO much of myself in Lorenzo, and I just felt so connected to him, and in a lot of ways, I wish for a friend like Lily, someone who can stand her ground, not put up bs, but also be there to help.

I LOVE how strong Lily is, and again, I think I saw a certain amount of myself in her, and I just felt connected to her. The way she fought herself and want she needed and wanted in her life, i personally found her quite admirable.

I definitely had some moments of crying, whether it was because Lorenzo said something to Lily that hurt her, and believe me, i felt the heartache! Or it was Lorenzo
working through his trauma and issues, particularly when it came to his parents
, I balled my eyes out, my god.

I did also enjoy seeing Julian and Dahlia again. I particularly liked seeing the "dislike to sorta like" between Lorenzo and Julian. It was hilarious to see the subtle digs they threw at one another. But, to be totally honest, I think theyre both similar in some ways.

That being said,
I really wanted to see more of Lilys business and maybe even some of her friends, and likewise with Lorenzo, I wanted to see more outside of the mayoral stuff and his relationship with Lily, and little more of his friendship with Manny. I also felt that we were running in circles with the falling out and making up every few chapters, that did become rather frustrating, because they both can see the other trying, but neither wanted to be the first to admit their feelings,
and i just wanted scream at them. It did just feel that certain aspects of the book were missing a little something. And I think the misprint with the book kind of threw me off slightly.

However, I love this book, I love Lorenzo and Lily, I love Lake Wisteria, and im so gutted this is the last book, but im so beyond excited to see what Laren has in store next for us.
