Work is going to be so hard because it’s 2:00 am, and I stayed up to finish this book, and I still need to shower before going to bed!!
Iwas once told there are a lot of sociopaths among us, especially in leadership positions because it’s an advantage to be able to think without feelings. That statement wasn’t backed up with any data, but it made me curious. Then came along this book.
Book starts out with the author asking for us readers to be empathetic and compassionate towards sociopaths. I started out with massive biases and an expectation of an unreliable narrator.
I finished the book feeling a great deal of empathy and compassion towards her and open to feeling the same for others who also share her diagnosis.
