This was a dark book. When I meant by dark is mostly about mental illness. The FMC is in so much grief that she consumes a lot of medication which leads to drug abuse. Unfortunately or rather fortunately, she seems to have a guardian angel a.k.a. a dark one. In this scenario, death itself. He leaves love messages and uses his being to stalk and protect her in his own way.
