The Marriage Sabbatical by Lian Dolan

4.0

Setting: Santa Fe & Portland. The premise of the book is interesting, and although it is not something I agree with personally, I do like stories of marriage, and people at this stage of life. I also appreciate books set in places other than NYC/east coast, so for those reasons, I am rounding up from a 3 to a 4. I also found the characters to be likable, and even “real” in terms of owning their own issues. Of course, some of/maybe most of the book is a bit unrealistic, BUT, still, enjoyable and good food for thought in terms of marriage, and committment. Last thought— this book was also a great example of how to write about sexual chemistry without having to be graphic.
