This is a deeply disturbing read. Aside from the setting, the horrifying acts committed by the fairytale, "Borrowers"-esque characters while they remain completely unfazed is truly frightening. Despite the nightmare-inducing story, I know I will be rereading it, along with many other readers, which is probably the most disturbing of all.
