I highly enjoyed reading this book and look forward to the sequel. However, it was not perfect. Some problems I had with it was the

mafia

thing was kinda of obvious. Another is Sophie's reaction or lack thereof to the

Spoiler

attempted rape

was a little weird. I know people respond differently, but in this book it seems to be more of a device in order to show how violent Nic can be rather then a major plot point.
Finally, when Sophie finds out that the

Spoiler

Falcone's family are mafia, Nic kind of info dumps a lot of background information in order to justify what they are, and she has a momentary reaction before kind of just going with it.
