This book has been my least favorite in the series so far. I found Lady Helena to be a pretty annoying and unpleasant narrator. Even though I enjoyed her emotional
focus on infertility and what it would have been like at this time in society. Also her past trauma.
There was also way way too much business discussions in this book - like I learned more about the orphans than about any other character. The spice was spicing however, and in the later chapters Max has some fantastic lines + well written dialogue.
