Losing Hope by Colleen Hoover
4.0

I know a lot of people didn't seem to like this book or thought it was a waste of time or an example or an author cheating at writing, but I really enjoyed it. I didn't always like when it's just the same dialogue repeated over, but I think it was necessary to show Holder's point of view. I liked that it showed what Holder was going through and made he didn't appear creepy like he did in the first book. This book really made me sympathize with Holder for all he has carried around and I really ended up liking his character. I think this book gave some insight to his life and showed us that he wasn't just sitting around stalking Sky and it explains his reasoning for everything. I liked seeing him pour his feelings out to Les, finding/ reading her note to him, and having him talk to his mom about everything. I think I enjoyed this more than the first book because it was less intense and shows you the internal struggle Holder is dealing with.
