The Other Miss Bridgerton by Julia Quinn
4.0

I went into this book not really knowing what to expect, as I had never read a Julia Quinn book before. But the cover kept catching my eye everytime I walked down the book isle at my local Target, so I decided that I must buy it. I certainly don't regret that decision, I loved it. Poppy was a delight, I loved reading about her character. She was so headstrong and sassy, two of my favorite things. And the same goes for Captain Andrew, he was a good and honest man with a penchant for the sarcastic. And I adored each and every dialogue of them snarking back and forth.
I enjoyed this book enough that I do believe I will be continuing on to read the other books in this prequel series. As it is, I'm intruiged by the glimpses of Billie's story hinted at in this book that I will certainly be reading the book focused on her.
Definitely worth the read!
My only disppointment was that the book ended so soon after them being brought back together. I had hoped to see more of the fall out from the discovered cause of their having already been acquainted and from Poppy's prolonged absence. Obviously I'm aware of what happened, but I wished that the drama could have actually been played out instead of being glossed over into a happily ever after.
