How to Keep House While Drowning: A Gentle Approach to Cleaning and Organizing by KC Davis

Before I read this, I didn't know I thought of care tasks as moral, but here we are. I loved this so much! A lot of the book is dedicated to tips on how to get tasks done when you're struggling, which wasn't the most helpful for me, but I really loved the sections on sustainability and division of labor. As a new parent there were also some great ideas for some things to implement (like "opening tasks" and "closing tasks") that I will definitely use. The framework in this book really helped me view chores and care tasks in a new, more compassionate way and I'll be returning to it for sure.
