destruction, and Iāve come unequipped with the ability to disarm themā - Maggie Stiefvater

It shouldāve been the perfect fantasy for me! Promises of killing your true love with a kiss and talking to the dead? Sign me up! š»
The first section was what I expected. Spooky atmosphere, humour and mystery. It was a little slow sure, but I was intrigued. Out of nowhere, the book took a detour and never returned š¤·š»āāļø
I honestly couldnāt tell you what happened, all of a sudden we were best mates with the Raven boys and looking for a Welsh king? Some guy called Noah was a plot twist? But was it? I didnāt care. š
It didnāt help that I just didnāt like any characters, I felt disconnected, I didnāt know any of them. Adam was probably the best character, there were some humorous one liners, but thatās about all I can say š
Iām just disappointed ā¹ļø this series is so highly rated and I wanted to love it. But even with the help of an audiobook, it couldnāt capture my attention.
