Last Chance to See by Douglas Adams, Mark Carwardine

4.0

I love Douglas Adams and his style of writing. Just the right amount of description, explanation, and story. I enjoyed learning about the animals they visited as well as what humans were doing to help with conservation efforts. There were some slow spots in the book - mainly those involving travel or waiting around (which are generally boring in real time) - but I genuinely enjoyed reading it. The really sad part about this is knowing that half of the animals discussed in this book are now extinct or extinct in the wild in the almost 20 years since being published. Humans suck.
