Son of Bhrigu by Christopher C. Doyle

1.0

This is my first read of Christopher C. Doyle’s writings and it’s a shame I picked such a dull book. It’s starts off at a good pace and as you fly through the chapters, it only gets boring. Characterization is an art and I felt the author miserably failed by trying to rip off of Harry Potter and similar books. There are too many chapters and most of them don’t really mean a thing to the actual plot. Prose is subtle. The plot is not intriguing and this’ll probably be the series I wouldn’t be interested in reading the next book. I had to force myself to finish reading it. Young and Novice readers might like the book but I honestly will not recommend the book and I will not gift it to young readers too. Definitely not an unputdownable.
