Every character unlikeable; all were cartoonish and stereotypical, most were hateful, except for the protagonist, who was flat and uninteresting. To be fair, I stopped reading a wee bit after the Native American character was lynched, that may be a spoiler but it's worth the warning because it's pretty sensitive content
