honestly, I'm a bit baffled how the author was capable of making his main character for the most part a young, feminist doctor-to-be who goes through a lot of reflection concerning her womanhood and her future job as a doctor in a male dominated field.
On the other hand he constantly sexualized her, when he described her from nobody's point of view. Why did he describe how her nipples got hard in the cold and why did her breast have to be exposed when she was attacked?? like?? there was no need for that, leave Susan alone!!
