This really was a real joy to read! The second half of the book I managed to completely ingest in the span of a day and half because of how absolutely hooked I was lmao. It did a terrific job of being the first book in sometime that gave me a VISCERAL response to a scene, and a book that made me stay up late to finish it. I'm already very much contemplating ordering the second book so I can go ahead and start reading that....
