Love & Virtue
by Diana Reid
Hmmm… I have a lot of thoughts on this one.
Diana Reid’s ability to keep the reader engaged is just amazing, and she has very insightful commentary on human psyche.
However, for a book that claims to be all about Michaela and Eve’s friendship, I never felt particularly bonded to Eve at all. So as their friendship deteriorated I didn’t really care. If you don’t like Sally Rooney (like I do) than maybe this style just isn’t for you. It definitely has a Sally Rooney influence to it
