Môj život by Édith Piaf, Hana Lerchová

My respect for Piaf has elevated since reading this, albeit I find many of her decisions to be bad and not thought through; that is however due to significant differences in our personalities, and it is quite amazing how she managed to get through so much. Shameless honesty does in many ways justify for me the possibility of selectiveness and chronology not being spot on, as one reviewer mentions in his review. [1]

I cannot answer whether she was a good person: but I suppose she wore her heart on her sleeve and acted in accordance with her feelings, which I suppose is a virtue. Would like to read more memoirs such as this one.
