The Marriage Lie by Kimberly Belle

4.0

Iris and Will have been married for 7 years. Their lives are perfect and they are ready to start a family. Then Will gets on a plane to go on a business trip to Orlando. But his name comes up on the flight manifest of a plane that has crashed on it's way to Seattle, leaving no survivors. Iris begins a journey that makes her realize that she has no idea who her husband actually is.

I liked this one. I saw the twist coming, but the ending was a surprise to me. There was one point that didn't sit well with me though. But I can't tell you without giving things away.

The fun part for me is that this book is set in Atlanta. Iris works in Buckhead and lives in Inman Park. She and Will enjoy walking the BeltLine, hanging out in Piedmont Park and eating at La Fonda. When her brother shows up to console her, he's wearing his UGA sweatshirt. I didn't actually read the "about the author" section, but I don't need to read it to know she's from here.
