The story is about Ty, a teenager that lives sub-sea with his family who unexpectedly meets a girl, Gemma, from the Topside (a land-dweller). It takes place over only a few days, but is a whirlwind of a story that takes place within the ocean.
This was a great adventure that never dulled. The writing itself was great and I especially loved that nearly all of the lingo used was water based, which was extremely fitting. I was all-around extremely fun and entertaining read. I'm hooked on the Dark Life series already and will definitely be reading the sequel!
