Love Is a Mix Tape: Life, Loss, and What I Listened To
by Rob Sheffield
This was a very honest and very sad book. I was expecting it to be a funny memoir, and while it does have funny parts, it is essentially a heartfelt and heartbreaking story of a music critic who has lost the woman he loves. The chapters are separated based on the mix-tapes he was listening to as the events were occurring through the late 80s and 90s. Rob Sheffield is a great story teller, so even though the story was sda, it was a great read.
