The Taming of the Tights by Louise Rennison

3.0

Genre: the theater, BOYS BOYS BOYS, love triangles galore
Summary: In the third installment of the Misadventures of Talullah Casey, Lullah is back at school with her Tree Sisters. Still boy crazy, still trying to impress the teachers and prove that she is more than what meets the eyes.
Response: Talullah is straight up nuts, but funny, of course. I love her weird group of friends. The whole love triangle-that-is-not-a-triangle is getting a little dull, but it ends pretty good. I wish I knew more about why one of the teachers doesn't like Lullah, but since it doesn't impact her too much she doesn't dwell on it very much. My only complaint about this series, like the Georgia Nicholson one is that there is not a whole lot of character growth from one novel to the next. Yes, the dialogue is funny, the scenarios the characters find themselves in are often hilarious, and Lullah's running inner commentary is gold, but I don't know if she will ever grow up, you know?
