I was so beyond sad to DNF this book because the plot and summary were so intriguing. What led me to not finishing the book was the writing. I found myself having to reread sentences and rearrange the sentences in my head in order to understand them. The sentence structure felt choppy, lacking any flow.
I'm not a literature major or an editor, but this was just my experience. I would be interested in picking this book back up if other reviews disagree with me, since the plot seems riveting.
