I think this would be a great choice for a book club, there’s so much to discuss. Here are a few reflections:
If you read a lot of Karen Cushman as a kid, this may be for you.
It’s a book I admired more than I liked.
There were so many ways to die in the Middle Ages.
It feels almost like a diary of events in Marie’s life rather than a cohesive narrative.
Audiobook narration is great.
Character names are great.
