This was a perfect, light summer read! I really like the 1st person perspective, it really makes this a fast, easy read. And I also like how the whole book is just from Shay's perspective. A lot of romance novels I've read recently have alternated perspectives and that really takes away a lot of tension since you always know exactly how the other person is feeling.
Shay and Dominic's banter was so funny and I especially loved the podcast chapters. Their chemistry was SO GOOD and really believable. Dominic was actually so perfect I loved him. There was a 5 year age gap between them, but they honestly felt the same age to me since Shay was kind of immature (if it wasn't for the fact that she CONSTANTLY brought up the fact that she was 29, I definitely would've thought she was younger). And all the side characters were pretty cool but a bit boring as they weren't very well developed which I guess is pretty common in books like this. Steve (the dog) was definitely the star of the book lol.
