I am a 34 year old woman who is unfamiliar with the Valiant Universe and not entirely sure why I requested this...at first I was worried that there were references I wouldn't get, it'd be a little too teen fiction for me, etc etc...Valiant High really surprised me though! It was cute and engaging and full of characters I want to know more about; definitely in the vein of Riverdale and Sabrina (a little more wholesome though) and if you're a fan of those shows/comics, this is a quick fun read.
