The Wedding by Nicholas Sparks

4.0

the wedding is the musing of a man who feels like the love of his life is slipping through his fingers after almost 3 decades of marriage. he wonders where things had gone wrong and whether there is still a chance to make things right to her and his family.

this was recommended to me by a friend who said this book was better than its predecessor, the notebook. i will have to agree somewhat. i enjoyed reading this - surprisingly. this type of narrative is not my type, but it was kinda refreshing to be honest. if you like a more plot driven story, this is definitely not for you. by 40% i was getting a little bit bored. glad i pushed through reading it because the ending of this book was definitely worth it. i absolutely loved the ending. did i ugly cry? no, but i did sob quite a bit.
