Really visceral and emotional portrayal of grief and sisterhood. Definitely had me teary eyed at times.
I really appreciated the discussion around motherhood. I really resonated with Avery’s indecision regarding it, and the way it was eventually resolved. I don’t think I’ve seen it discussed in the way that this book discussed it.
I also really appreciated the discussion around god or a higher power and how all three sisters had different views about spirituality without it ever being a point of contention for them. I think it is so rare to see harmonious relationships between people with different faiths portrayed in books or media, and I really liked seeing it here.
