i love Becky Chambers and her approach to literally everything. writing lovable characters is her thing, but she breathes so much life into all of them. there is critique on capitalism, religion, and -isms while remaining cozy and fun with space exploration. all of that is quite the feat to achieve all at once. this was so fun and i will absolutely be reading the rest of the series.
