**I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review**
Ahh, I absolutely loved A Ballad for Slayers and Monsters. It was such an enjoyable read, from the classic adventure plot, the snappy and fun dialogue, and the emotional and heartfelt characters.
From beginning to end, I was just having so much fun in the best way possible. The action scenes were all fast-paced and well-written, the interactions between the characters were so much fun and also incredibly meaningful, and the world-building was so intriguing!
I loved both of the leads, Kas was my favorite type of grumpy but righteous hero and Claudia was so witty and graceful. I deeply enjoyed how their relationship developed over the course of the book.
The relationships as a whole were all incredible! There were many times when I felt myself getting emotional because of how beautiful and complex they were.
Overall, it was just such an incredibly fun time and I highly recommend it, especially to my fellow Castlevania fans!
