“When I burn this world to embers, and you paint me as the villain, remember, I really did try to be good . . . once.”

Daaaaaamn I love me some feminine rage! This book fulfilled every bit of my craving for some vengeance and fiery retribution.

This review is essentially my Love Letter To Dianna pt2. This character is becoming alarmingly special to me. The way Amber V. Nicole has written Dianna’s experiences of the aftermath of trauma, the pain of grief, and the rage of women that is so often absent in any form of media, it just strikes a chord that makes me feel BIG FEELINGS for this character.

This installment of the Gods and Monsters series is epic, like truly world-shattering, cosmos-rattling epic. This story was unpredictable, the traitors were traitor-ing in a big way so for 99% of this book I was S T R E S S E D. The other 1% I was either laughing at the banter or sobbing my heart out.

10/10 no notes 😅

If you need me, I’ll be being victimized by book 3
