The MC thinking she was a silly girl over and over was a little annoying for me. And I found it a bit repetitive. But the end popped it up a quarter-point for me. I thought the plotting was well-done, but the writing wasn't as strong. Also, how was the MC so dumb about what you can eat as a pregnant person?? I also have a big pet peeve where a fact is in the book that I can google and it seems like the author did not. If the MC ate something at, let's say, 6 pm at the latest, (how much later than like 5 pm would a realtor be meeting for a showing?), then the food would be fully digested by about 9:30 am the next morning. She couldn't throw that up.
