I first tried listening to this on the new version of audio "playaways" but I just could not pay attention well enough, so I asked for it in book form for my birthday. I adored Henry's character in the first book and this continuation, his story, laid out every reason I loved him. I loved the flow of the story and all the connections in history. It blew my mind that so many of these people mentioned lived at the same time or within years of each other, I often associate most with different time periods. I was worried in the beginning because things didn't line up with the ending of the first book but then, it all came together and it was awesome. My only complaint was how long the chapters were. I'm one of those people that likes to finish a chapter but due to the length of these, I couldn't easily do that when I was busy.
