There's just so much to love about this story. Hel is both mystery and utterly human, arrogant yet dedicated to simplicity, a killer yet lover of life. There is outrageous elements bordering on fantastical, but little more than what is found in many action movies and somehow in here more believable. The humor is not for the politically correct crowd, there are few groups that escape scathing mockery, particularly Americans. Read this if you want a rather fun romp through the mind of a man who has thought more about life and his place in it than most characters or real people ever have.
