I really liked the premise of this novel. I liked that we know where Tea ends up but we don't know how. Her story is slow but interesting. I often found Tea to be whiny. I felt like Tea's character falls into the "Bella effect" the powerful or beautiful or unique girl who is full of self-doubt. Some of the over whininess might be from the reader, sometimes I am unsure if a character rubs me wrong because of the readers interpretation of them or if I would have felt the same way reading the characters myself.
