The Walking Dead Game, especially Clementine, has been a series that’s meant a lot to me growing up and seeing that there was more to the story made me remember that. I think the plot was nice and felt like it held up on its own but for fans of the game and the ending of the 4th season, its disappointing. Clementine would never leave AJ and all the friends she made at Ericsson’s because she was “unhappy” the ending in the game shows that she is finally in a place that she doesn’t feel like she need to run from to protect herself. In A New Frontier they show this fear of hers from the trauma she experiences in the games before. I think this is very out of character for Clementine but if you weren’t a fan of the games before reading the book it is a decent read. I will definitely be checking out more but maybe not buying it myself.
