Did not finish book. Stopped at 63%.

It isn't BAD. I may try eyeball reading it later - I just kept not understanding/following what was going on and it led to me not feeling too invested. 

I liked the politics, social justice issues and those chapters were very compelling. The action/faster paced chapters were what ended up losing me.

At points a named side character died and the MC almost died during action scenes and I honestly had no idea those events even happened until the following chapter when the narration was reflecting or dealing with the fall out of that
