The Flintstones, Vol. 1 by Mark Russell, Steve Pugh

5.0

This is not like the Flinstones we watched as kids. The characters are the same and the setting is more or less the same but it's updated for the modern era. The writing is brilliant with witty socio-political commentary that is relevant in today's day and age. It's like the Flinstones are living in a 21st century (mostly American) version of stone age and that is exactly as fun as it sounds! If social satire is your thing and you like to see your childhood favourites in a fresh new setting, then this is absolutely the series for you.
