Skip Beat!, Vol. 13 by Yoshiki Nakamura

Finaly! Ren’s acting test!!! That was really good. I really enjoyed those chapters. I’m sad to see the Dark Moon arc come to an end, so far it has been so incredibly interesting. But then again I’m glad it’s over, I want to see Kyoko get more and more experienced and famous, I want to see her advance in show biz, so I’m really looking forward to the next arcs in the series!!!
Also I really loved how after the acting test Kyoko offered Corn to Ren. Those scenes were so magical, with Ren getting amused by Kyoko’s naivety and childishness, and Kyoko’s adorable expressions. It was really funny. It’s also really funny how Kyoko keeps misreading Ren’s feelings towards her, and how she even denies and misreads her own emotions and feelings towards Ren.
Kyoko is definitely my favorite character, I love her contradictory personality. She’s naive towards her own feelings and Ren’s feelings but she’s also really perceptive at times. She’s scary and intimidating, but she’s also really sweet and kind. Her complexity as a character is what makes her a great character. I also really love characters with tragic and sad backstories so of course I enjoy Kyoko’s character...
