Midnight Sun was a retelling so there weren’t very many surprise twists and turns. However, I was completely pulled into the story from seeing it from Edward’s perspective. My opinion has changed on so many situations that I wasn’t fully understanding in Twilight. Meyer really captures Edward’s voice and I’m all here for it! She even added a few nuggets about Alice that I was craving. I’m hoping to see a spin-off of Alice and Jasper in the future. All in all, I feel like this was a book to the fans...almost behind the scenes footage style, and it’s everything I was hoping for.
