i'm so excited caleb finally got a book! i love him! somehow he manages to be sweet and innocent regardless of his job and his experience. i love that he has such a good outlook on life and what he's doing to make it through his rough patch. while i hate his profession, i like that he doesn't have a crappy attitude because of it.
i'm not sure if patton is socially inept or just an idiot but i hate the way he treated caleb through most of the book. it seemed like he had no idea the impact and meaning of what he was saying most of the time. caleb was extremely patient with and forgiving of him. his lack of experience with relationships may have played a role in that. in the end, with caleb's guidance he starts to be the man he should be with such a sweet boy.
love this series and can't wait for the next!
