The tension and banter in this book had be flying through!

Ford is besties with Emory. Emory is the older brother of Taytum. Due to Taytum's recent diagnosis of diabetes, Ford and Emory have taken it upon themselves to make sure she is caring for herself the way she should. She is having a hard time grasping this and wants to live. Live in a way that her brother and over protective "brother" have prevented is by hooking up. This results in to Ford helping her with this request.

These two had chemistry. They had banter. They were angsty. These two delivered. The relationship not only between the two of them but Ford with her parents and even his relationship with Emory showed a strong sense of loyalty throughout the book. How hard Ford cared and would care for those he loves.

Ford had me giggling throughout the book. His humor was very well inserted at times when it was needed!  His loyalty, kindness and intelligence created such a strong FMC for Taytum. That is what she is going to need anyways all things considered. He is obsessive, possessive and will do WHATEVER for Taytum!

Taytum is a force! She is strong and wants to be so very independent but with the new diagnosis, she is now reliant on others in a way of them just wanting to help and she is not okay with it. Her stubbornness is what impacts this and at times, this can get annoying but she just want to live her life and not be treated differently.

The slow burn between was for sure burning but during the whole time it was filled with tension and banter that you knew was eventually going to just go off!

I have enjoyed both past books, Weak Side and Ice Bet and this is just another one by S.J. to add to list!! Loved it!
