I love the trope of hidden royalty that fall for someone they meet during hiding, so I was super excited to read this book! It's my second book from this author since i read the novella before this, and it was enjoyable and a fast-paced book!
I just found the writing to be a bit awkward? I don't know if that's because of the chatacters or what, but it didn't meld well together at certain parts and it seemed kind of forced too.
I will continue the series and see what happens since the next book is how I found this series to begin with!
