Completely Clementine by Marla Frazee, Sara Pennypacker

4.0

Cute, and the perfect level of child understanding for the age group. Margaret continues to annoy me because her obsession with cleaning stuff just doesn't ring true for me. The actual obsession does, kids are fixated on all sorts of things, but the level to which its taken, and the way it's played up for laughs is irritating. Clementine and her family, however, are drawn with pitch perfect accuracy. I wish all kids had parents as understanding.

It's hard to separate this book from the previous ones in the series - the importance of the Pentagon, for instance, resonated with me because of reading about its origins in an earlier work.

Very much enjoyed this one.
