Way better than the first book in terms of plot. The ending really threw me for a loop cuz it was a real quick enemies to lovers then back to raging enemies even though I’m sure it’s all a ruse. The politics in these books is overwhelming and so dramatic but I’m here for it. You’d think they would learn about poison in school or from their family but I guess not after being poisoned 10 times.
