OMG WHAT DID I JUST READ!!! WHY DID I LOVE IT SOOOO MUCH!!!
This book was so dark, intense, thrilling and full of gore, I could not put it down. I am really new to this genre of splatterpunk I think it's called, and I have only really read Callie's works in this genre, and she has done an amazing time each time!!
On one hand your heart breaks for Lana and what she has been through, but you have to deal with what she has been forced to do makes you feel conflicted in the best way possible. The chemistry she has with Christian with the banter, the sass, the attitude and intensity were heart pounding, and I loved every minute of it. What also got me in my feels was the way Christian would think about, talk to her and act around her and when he would call her Princess oh my oh my oh my!!!!
Christian and Lana were broken by what happen to them in their lives, but their broken pieces fit together perfectly.
I love Callie's writings and can't wait to read more of her works.
This book is about Lana who gives herself up to save her brother after he can't pay his drug debts. The people who take her turn her life into one of pain, suffer, horror, violence, death and so much more turning her into the Bl00d princess where anyone willing to pay on the d@rkweb can witness the horrors. However, one of the viewers of her show has been watching and planning and will do anything he can to not just destroy this competitor's operation but to also get his hands on HIS princess...
