A great, innovative novel. I love vampires and I need to read more varied queer stories. This book had both. The characters are creative but sometimes a little flat. Still this didn't make me dislike this book.

I also would love to have liked to see more external conflict, eventhough we had a bit of that at the end. You're not telling me they have never gotten close to discovered before that moment. Also I would love to see more of the vampire world and lore.
